For one operator in Oklahoma, poor information management frequently caused delays of 2-4 hours when technicians arrived on location with the wrong equipment. With over 500 ESP wells in operation, the cost to the operator was significant.
Summit offered the operator a trial period to test Summit Knowledge (SK), our proprietary real-time, web-based business operating system and its ability to improve equipment tracking and reduce downtime.
Summit Knowledge saved an estimated $20,000 across the 20 wells that were affected. The customer has been exceedingly pleased with SK, and is now using SK on all 500 wells is seeing an
Technicians are dispatched by the Summit Knowledge Dispatch System, a cloud-based cross-platform application that communicates with technician’s mobile devices in the field. The dispatcher’s web interface provides a field-wide view of all technicians with detailed real-time details of all active jobs across the dispatcher’s region allowing efficient dispatch of the best qualified techs for every type of job.
Technicians in the field are alerted to dispatches via their mobile devices in the field. The Dispatch app allows them to navigate to the GPS coordinates of the well, armed with tooling and all the necessary information needed to do their job right the first time.
Technicians input all relevant field paperwork directly into the SK system while on-site via the offline-enabled SK client. Photos and video are recorded of the job that are then automatically associated with key paperwork. This data is synced back to the central SK cloud repository where it is instantly available to customers and Summit ESP employees.
